Gare de Lyon and Gare de Bercy
Ideal for carrying on to the south-east: you step off a train, the driver is waiting and the A6 is ten minutes away. We are often booked here after missed connections or cancelled trains.
Departing from Paris
The longest part of any trip from Paris is often the first hour. We pick you up at your door and choose the right exit and the right time, so the journey gets going properly.
Unique to this route
Every destination has its own way out of Paris. Pick the right one at the right time and you can often save three quarters of an hour before you even reach the motorway.
Towards Roissy, Lille, Brussels and Amsterdam. Jammed inbound in the morning, but much smoother heading out.
Towards Reims, Metz, Strasbourg, Luxembourg and Frankfurt. The shared A4-A86 stretch is the tricky part at rush hour.
The Autoroute du Soleil towards Lyon, Geneva, Marseille and Milan. Best avoided on Fridays after 3pm during the holidays.
Via the A6a, then the A10 towards Orléans, Tours and Bordeaux. On summer weekends, leaving before 7am makes all the difference.
Towards Rouen, Deauville and Normandy. The Saint-Cloud tunnel is the Friday-evening bottleneck.
Every major destination has its own way out: Porte de la Chapelle and the A1 for Lille, Brussels and Amsterdam; Porte de Bercy and the A4 for Reims, Metz, Strasbourg and Luxembourg; Porte d’Italie and the A6 for Lyon, Geneva and Marseille; Porte d’Orléans for the A10 and Bordeaux; Porte de Saint-Cloud and the A13 for Normandy.
At rush hour, the Paris ring road (the Périphérique) and the A86 can add three quarters of an hour to any trip. We recommend leaving before 7am or between 9.30am and 3pm on weekdays, and we avoid heading south or west on Friday after 3pm whenever possible.
We pick you up anywhere in Paris and the Île-de-France region: home, office, hotel, or straight off a train at Gare de Lyon, Gare du Nord, Gare de l’Est, Montparnasse, Saint-Lazare or Austerlitz. At a station, the driver waits for you at the head of the platform or at the agreed meeting point.
On arrival, the driver loads the luggage, fits child seats if needed and lets you settle in. From then on, you have nothing left to manage until you reach your destination.
